A native hybrid of key-value and SQL, from the sensor to the gateway

AltSql is one small engine and one set of records. Get/put goes straight to a record, SQL asks questions of the same records, and nothing is translated between the device and the gateway. Devices keep working and deciding when the link drops.

Reads by key on the gateway, against SQLite answering the same read through SQL

Simulated power cuts in one run, with nothing saved lost

Random SQL statements on the gateway, with the same answers as SQLite

Measured on a PC in the Alphas, with chips, links and files simulated. The Beta measures every number again on real hardware.

AltSql Core and Six Prototypes Built Around It

Discuss a hardware pilot

Device makers who want to see AltSql on their own board, with their own data, can start planning a pilot now. The pilot page says who it suits, what to bring and how it would run.
